I Know Thy Works Behold I Have Set Before Thee And Open Door And No Man Can Shut It. For Thou Hath A Little Strength And Has Kept My Word And Hath Not Denied My Name. Revelation 3:8 SHADOW Shadow was pure Indian and born on a reservation in South Dakota. At a very young age she started having seizures. Back then when a person had seizures they were institutionalized and had to live there. This is where Shadow lived at for years until she became an adult. When Shadow came to live in my home I was told she was retarted. After I got to know her I knew she was not. She had lived in a shelter had not received much of an education so her mind did not mature as it should have. I was also told that she had a violent temper and she could be very demanding. After Shadow was living in my home, we found out alot about her. I always spent time in prayer before I let anyone come in to our home. Shadow had the granny seizures. When she had them they were pretty hard on her. The first time I saw Shadow have a seizure we were on our way to see an evangelist. Again it was "Jack Huff". Then I knew the enemy of Christ did not want Shadow to be set free. We had not been on the road for an hour when Shadow went into a seizure and stopped breathing. I drove like crazy to get to a phone. When the ambulance came her heart beat was faint but they worked with her and I was praying the whole time. After we got her situated we went on to see Jack. At the night church service Shadow had another seizure. This time several members of the church gathered around her and began praying. In less than five minutes Shadow started coming out of it. She never had a seizure again after that... Praise Jesus As I have said Shadow had a viloent temper and loved to make up stories. I was told she beat up the lady who cared for her in the home she lived in before. I never felt fear about Shadow for I knew God was in charge of the situation. Finally Shadow moved out of our home. She had a chance to have her own apartment . About a year after she moved out, I talked to one of her Doctors. I was told that Shadow never got angry any more like she did. Now that was a prayer answered. When Shadow came to our house she had never known how to cook, or do laundry or even take care of a house. When she left she was able to do for herself. Shadow was not a young girl, she was in her middle thrities when she came here. When she left she had learned what Salvation was. She had asked Jesus in to her heart.. And Not Only So, But We Glory In Tribulation Also: Knowing That Tribulation Worketh Patience; And Patience Experience And Experience Hope And Hope Maketh Not Ashamed Because The Love OF God Is Shed Abroad In Our Hearts By The Holy Ghost Unto US ROMANS 5:3-5 CHANGEABLE SITUATIONS Sonny was a young man who came to my home to live for a short time. His Father had died when he was a young boy. He had three younger sisters and brothers. Not too long after that his Mother left these 3 small children in a home. They had been abandoned and he was the oldest child. He did the best he could as a 6 year old child could do. Some how the social services found out and all 4 children were placed in their custody. Sonny had never gotten over his Father dying and his Mother leaving him. He was dealing with a lot of rejection in his heart. Over the years, Sonny's health worsened. He had diabetes and osteopetrosis, and seizures. This boy did not take care of himself and some other things went on in his life. When he grew to be an adult, the courts appointed him a guardian. This where I came in the picture. That year God layed it in my heart to open my home for people who needed help and to have the opportunity to know the Lord. I had evangelists pray with me over this and they all knew that this was part of the calling on my life. I received a call from his gaurdian and was told about Sonny and was asked to take him in to my home. I agreed. He was in a nursing home and he was in his early twenties. When I walked in to the building I could not believe the living conditions in that home. Sonny was so happy to be free of that place and he was like a little boy at Christmas. It was as if he found a whole lot of gifts under the Christmas tree. Not too long after Sonny was with us, we went to see "Jack Huff" the evangelist. During one of the services Loyd decided to go to the alter and accept Christ into his heart. That night Sonny got a "Special message from the Holy spirit." Part of the message said He was going to be healed. Jack also said that Sonny had a calling on his life and the enemy of Christ was so upset because of it and now Loyd would not be locked up in hell. Now not all was smooth with Sonny, he was like a child in some ways. He told me "You might as well call me stupid and everything else, everyone else has." I said "Sonny you are not stupid." "God loves you and some day you will be set free of all your torments and I will never call you stupid." Sonny began having some attacks on his health.. His diabetes was getting out of hand. The osteopetrosis was getting worst. Sonny started getting into some trouble around town. I talked with Sonny and I would pray with him. We prayed so much together. Then came a time Sonny had too many things to deal with. His court appointed guardian decided to put him in the mental hospital for some tests. While he was in the hospital I visited with him. He, my daughter, and I were seated in this small visitors' room where the nurses could see everything as they went by. I asked him if he wanted to be set free of everything, which included his sickness and torments. Yes he did and he wanted to have a place of his own. I explained to him that he must surrender it all to Jesus and lay it at his feet and not pick any of it up again. This included everything he was dealing with. He said he would do it "then." I asked if he would like for me to pray with him. He said yes. I prayed for him and then I layed my hand upon his head, and what happens? Sonny was slain in the Holy spirit and heres me thinking "Oh no..oh no!" "No one is behind him and is he hurt!" These things were going through my head so quick. I looked around to see if the nurses were watching but at that time they were all away from their desk. Sonny was just laying there in the spirit. After I stopped and looked at the situation I said "Jesus.. thank you!" I knew at that moment He was in control, not me. Time passed and one day the phone rang and it was Sonny bubbling over. He had so much he wanted to tell me. He was out of the hospital, had a job, and had his own apartment. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!! He was not taking as much insulin as before and his osteopetrosis was subsiding. He was going to church and was very happy and wanted to call me and thank me for what I had done for him. I told him to give God the Glory for He was the one that did it all. God is A loving Father... | ||||||||||||||||

Here I would like to share how Jesus helped this young girl I met in the hospital. I will call her Julie so to protect her name. One Sunday afternoon my husband's niece brought this lady over to my house and wanted to know if I would pray for her daughter, who was in a mental hospital. This young girl was going through some things and the Mother didn't know how to deal with her any more. She wanted to know if I would pray for her. As we gathered around in my living room, this Mother, my niece, and my daughter held hands and began praying for this young girl Julie. As I prayed I asked for the Lord to show her the truth, "how she could be set free and how she needed to step forward and let Jesus work in her life." As I was praying I saw her in a vision and she was facing the way to the darkness and not toward Jesus. I told Julie to turn and look towards the light for Jesus is the light and He would "Heal" her mind, soul, and spirit. After we were fininshed praying I told her Mom to look for some miracles to be happening. Then her Mother asked me if I would go to the Hospital and visit with her daughter. I promised her I would. A couple of days later, I was able to go visit her. When I walked in to the room this is what she said to me "I know you". "You are the person that told me to look at the light and I did and I saw you in that light too." She went on to say she was scared. She continued to tell me of her fears and how she needed Jesus in her heart. There in the hospital , I prayed with her and she accepted Christ as her Master and Redeemer. After Julie was finished praying she said "Do you know what I like to do?" "I like to sing about Jesus." I told her to go ahead and sing from her heart of how felt about Jesus. This young girl started singing and she had such a sweet voice. She was singing to my Lord. Once again another child came home to be in the arms of Jesus. "I MUST WORK THE WORKS OF HIM THAT SENT ME, WHILE IT IS DAY: THE NIGHT COMETH WHEN NO MAN CAN WORK." Psa 119:105 "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." John 15:16 "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain." For God So Loved The World That He Gave His Only Begotten Son, That Whosoever Believeth On Him Should Not Perish But Have Everlasting Life... JOHN 3:16
